PALATE: Crisp, fresh and dry with a delicate touch of spice on the finish.
SERVE: Well chilled (8-10ºC). Great with salads, seafood, poultry and light- to medium curries.
PERFECT WITH: The herbaceous character and acidity of the Sauvignon go well with spicy vinegary vinidaloos, Goan curries such as xacuti and curries that use tamarind as a souring agent. It also pairs well with fregrant Thai green curry. The Sauvignon Blanc is also refreshing as it cuts through the richness of many coconut-based sauces such as South Indian - Kerala Meat Stews. It is also rather good with the oily sweetness of fish, making it perfect with most fish curries but especially those with a tangy tomato or tamarind base.
